ABOUT US

Brothers University Junior is a four-week leadership program for elementary-age boys. As an extension of Brothers University, BU Junior introduces leadership through moments boys recognize from their own lives, like inviting a classmate to join a game, asking for help with schoolwork, or keeping a promise to a friend.

Each week, mentors use stories, games, and group conversations to help boys practice a skill they can use at school or at home. They learn to name what they’re feeling, express themselves respectfully, take responsibility for their choices, and work toward a goal. Along the way, each boy gets to discover what he does well and recognize the strengths in someone else.

Brotherhood begins with how the boys treat one another. At BU Junior, they take turns leading, encourage each other to try again, and celebrate one another’s progress. Our goal is for every boy to finish the four weeks believing in himself and knowing how to put that belief into action.
